Mallorca 8.0 para XP9 y XP10

VERSION A:
The extensive and drivable road network on Mallorca - on custom streets and roads, could only be realized on the old terrain of XP 9 on which it was created. "Mallorca 8.0A" is fully usable with XP 10, but even with the inaccuracies in the terrain of XP9. The city of Palma is moved about two kilometers because in XP 9 the coastline did not correspond to reality. This is also the only disadvantage. It was possible to save around 20 ports and harbors, including the passenger port in Palma Porto Pi. Also saved are over 100 villages and towns in Mallorca, which can also be used for VFR pilots.

As mentioned above, also hundreds of miles separate roads remained fully intact and can be used - also the Sóller Tunnel. This 4 km long tunnel was created with chief tunnel builder "Daveduck", member of the X-Plane.org Forum.

For FVR for navigation the road network is likely incomplete. But it allows pilots who visit LEPA to make an extended trip to Palma or an excursion over the island by car. Begin is on the starting point "Car Hire". Hrere you see the road maps. Red lines indicate drivable roads. All directions are marked like in real life with traffic signs. Just pay attention to speed limits, otherwise the car crashes on bumps or bridges.

Possible is even an online race on the race course near Llucmajor. Which is accessed via highway de Levante (MA 19).

"Majorca 8-0A" offers all advantages of XP 10. However there are no self-generating buildings, roads, railway lines and overhead power lines. The forest is generated by CORINE (alpilotx and xflyer). These forests are closer to Mallorca reality than the ones of XP 10.

That's the reason for version A of the Mallorca Scenery.

INSTALLATION:
The Package "Mallorca_A" contains three folders that go into "Custom Scenery":

Mallorca_8.0_A
Mallorca_terrain
Mallorca_forest

and other useful things.

VERSION B:
This version is a mixture of parts of the old Scenery and the new self generating scenery of XP 10. That means: We have the old airports LEPA, LESB and the airstrip LEVB. We have a few surrounding villages and the capital Palma. We have the ports of Palma. We have some landmarks - big hospitals, soccer arena, Bellver Castle. Nothing more. No more villages, no harbors, no custom roads or streets. But all that what XP 10 generates on OSM datas. And of course the more exact terrain model.

"Mallorca_8.0_B" is for those pilots who need exact navigation points for VFR flights. For those pilots who do not see the insufficiency of the OSM system as we find it on Mallorca. Who like american suburbs where in reality are hotels, hotels, hotels….

If you want this version you only need to install the scenery "Mallorca_8.0_B" from package "Mallorca_B". Copy only this folder into "Custom Scenery"
