This is the X-Plane spaceflight enhancement plugin. It makes the following changes to the X-Plane simulator:
•Fixes integration errors in X-Plane
•Adds atmospheric scattering visible from orbit
•Adds reaction control system/custom thrusters support
•Extra camera views
•Makes X-Plane Earth & Mars to rotate
•Adds datarefs for inertial/non-inertial coordinate systems
•Adds WMM (magnetic model) and datarefs for it
•Makes it possible to launch from launch pads
This is the X-Plane spaceflight enhancement plugin. It makes the following changes to the X-Plane simulator:
•Adds a new physics engine above 395,000 ft: it provides very precise orbital physics.
•Adds atmospheric scattering visible from orbit
•Adds reaction control system/custom thrusters support
•Extra camera views
•Makes X-Plane Earth & Mars to rotate
•Adds datarefs for inertial/non-inertial coordinate systems
•Adds WMM (magnetic model) and datarefs for it
•Makes it possible to launch from launch pads
•Can track paths of weapon objects the same way you track path of aircraft (button O)
•Adds fuselage drag
•Adds reentry heating
•Adds orbital drag and new atmospheric model for high altitudes
Changes in release 4:
•Added drag for capsules
•Added reentry heating (very rough right now)
•Added materials system
•Added atmospheric model (NRLMSISE-00)
•Updates for the rocket
•Fixed scattering - now it's less jumpy
•Changes in datarefs
